Amanda Aversa, MA, RMHCI

Amanda is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working toward full licensure in the state of Florida. Amanda has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, boundaries, loss, grief, and domestic and sexual violence related trauma. Amanda is familiar with the complexities and unique experiences of people living with disabilities and has completed course work in vocational rehabilitation. Amanda utilizes an integrative and collaborative approach while incorporating strength-based and trauma-informed care in treatment for individuals and couples.


Amanda received her master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the University of South Florida in 2023 and her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science in 2021. Additionally, Amanda completed a grief and loss certificate training course (GCTC) in 2023.


In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and children and her interests include yoga, crafting, gardening, and golfing. Amanda also has a love for birds and nature and spends as much time outdoors as possible.
