Dr. Amanda Pinelli, Psy.D
Dr. Amanda Pinelli received her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, and her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University. She is currently pursuing Florida Licensure under the supervision of Dr. Melina Scally.
Dr. Pinelli has worked with a diverse population of clients within a range of the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, LGBTQ+ and the military veteran population. She has experience working in a variety of settings, including private practice, out-patient clinics, college counseling, community mental health and inpatient hospital settings.
She acknowledges during life’s journey there may be unexpected twists, turns and bumps that are often difficult to heal from and adjust to. She is enthusiastic and committed about walking beside clients and their families along their unique and individual journeys for healing and emotional well-being. Dr. Pinelli has experience working with posttraumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, life transitions, depressive disorders, self-injurious behaviors, addictions, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, anger management, self-esteem issues, individual problems in interpersonal relationships, personality disorders and persistent and severe mental illness.
